DLC: February Goals
- Weight Loss: Since I nearly doubled my January goal (which may have been set a bit too conservatively), I’m going to up the goal by a couple pounds. So I want to be down 6 more el-bees by March 1. Quantifiable: Goal weight = 183
- Continue the perfect track record on MyFitnessPal. Being conscious of what (and how much) I’m putting in my body every day helps. Quantifiable: 29 days in a row
- Continue the perfect track record on my half-marathon training plan. I haven’t missed a scheduled run yet, and don’t want to. Quantifiable: I have 17 runs scheduled for Feb…so all 17.
- With the running in mind, it is my hope to have 75 miles in February. The most I’ve ever done in a month is 49.7 miles (January 2012), so that’s a big step up. Quantifiable: 75 miles in Feb.
- Finally, something I’ve been chatting about with my awesome buddy, Amanda, is the whole life-balance thing. So I want to ensure that I’m spending copious amounts of quality time with my family. Quantifiably, I’m setting a goal of one-on-one dates with my wife and 2 kids at least once each month, and family-eating-dinner-together-at-the-table at least once a week. Quantifiable: 3 dates, 4 meals
